B2EN anticipates overseas AI and semiconductor growth from government US investment projects

AI and big data company B2EN is exploring overseas AI and semiconductor expansion as major Korea–US investment cooperation advances, including the government's first US investment project.
Having worked with Rebellions on government-supported overseas public AI projects, B2EN expects Korea–US cooperation to spur Korean advanced industries' US entry. It plans to identify new overseas projects incorporating its data and AI software.
According to industry sources, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy is discussing details with US counterparts, mainly in energy, aiming to announce the first US investment project this month.
B2EN previously formed a consortium with Rebellions and VIRNECT under NIPA's AI Semiconductor Overseas Expansion Support program to participate in Mongolia's AI digital customs administration.
The project combines Rebellions' server AI chips with B2EN's AI and data technology to support HS code classification and customs inquiries. The consortium completed first-year testing last December; the project runs for two years through this year.
This created a reference for applying Korean AI chips and B2EN software in a foreign government agency. As a government-backed joint overseas initiative, it is expected to help identify similar global projects.
The Rebellions relationship is also notable: B2EN's fund investment has developed into practical business cooperation through technology collaboration on overseas AI projects.
Rebellions is pursuing a Korean IPO and global expansion. B2EN plans to build on existing cooperation to widen the applications of combined AI chip and data/software business models.
If government-led US investment accelerates Korean companies' market entry and follow-on advanced-industry projects, B2EN expects its overseas public AI experience to help secure new opportunities.
A B2EN representative said, “The Mongolia customs project gave us practical experience building and validating an overseas model combining Korean AI chips with our data and AI technology. As overseas opportunities expand, including US investment initiatives, we will actively develop global business based on our partnerships and references.”
